Madrid Landmarks



Puerta del Sol



Madrid's nerve center and essential meeting point. Here you will find the famous Clock of the Casa de Correos, the Kilometer Zero and the statue of the Bear and the Strawberry Tree.

Plaza Mayor



Heart of Madrid de los Austrias. Ideal to taste the typical calamari sandwich and admire its arcaded architecture and the equestrian statue of Philip III.

Retiro Park



One of the green lungs of the city. It offers gardens, sculptures, the famous Estanque Grande and activities such as boat rides. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO next to the Paseo del Prado.



Temple of Debod



Egyptian temple with spectacular sunsets. A gift from Egypt, located next to the Plaza de España.

Royal Palace of Madrid



The official residence of the King of Spain (although not inhabited by the current monarchs). With more than 3,400 rooms, it is the largest palace in Western Europe.
